Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, assisting with reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of accounting experience looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry and transaction documentation.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports.
  • Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings.
  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries related to accounting matters.
  • Assist in Any ad hoc tasks required from the finance manager.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
