The
Training & Team Development Specialist
is responsible for delivering comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new employees while supporting the creation and development of effective remote teams.

This role ensures that new team members acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform successfully in their roles. The Specialist collaborates closely with the Department Manager, providing regular feedback and maintaining consistent communication throughout the entire onboarding and training process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Onboarding: Lead structured onboarding sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, culture, and job-specific expectations, including guidelines for remote work environments.
  • Create, update, and maintain training content such as manuals, guides, and presentations, ensuring materials are suitable for both in-person and remote learning.
  • Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging training programs—both theoretical and practical—tailored to the needs of new employees across on-site and remote settings
  • Monitor trainee progress through assessments, quizzes, and practical exercises to ensure they meet required performance standards.
  • Provide clear, structured, and timely feedback on trainee performance to Supervisors and the Department Manager, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps
  • Remote Team Development: Support the establishment, training, and coordination of remote teams by optimizing onboarding processes, communication workflows, and training methods tailored for remote work.
  • Maintain regular communication with Supervisors and the Department Manager to ensure smooth handovers, alignment with departmental expectations, and consistency in training outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance training procedures, onboarding practices, and remote team development strategies to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in training, coaching, or mentoring roles.
- Strong experience in building, organizing, or supporting REMOTE teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design clear, structured, and engaging training materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and supportive approach when working with new employees.
