Area Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven
Area Manager
to lead the operations of our
KFC
restaurants in Paphos.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, team development, financial performance, and customer satisfaction across all assigned units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership
  : Oversee daily operations of multiple restaurant units, ensuring adherence to brand standards, food safety protocols, and exceptional customer service. Conduct regular and surprise store visits to monitor performance and compliance.
• Team Management & Development
  : Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Restaurant General Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Team Members. Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and support career development planning.
• Customer Experience
  : Foster a customer-focused culture by training teams to exceed service expectations. Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Financial Oversight
  : Monitor sales, labour, inventory, and controllables. Collaborate with RGMs to meet margin targets and implement cost-control strategies. Review store-level financials and guide RGMs on improving profitability.
• Business Planning
  : Work with restaurant teams to develop Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and drive performance against established business objectives. Participate in the brand's annual business planning process.
• New Store Openings
  : Play a key role in launching new units, ensuring operational readiness, proper staffing, and adherence to brand and quality standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
  : Partner with HR, Marketing, IT, QA, Training, and Maintenance departments to support unit-level needs, communicate challenges, and implement aligned solutions.
• Facilities & Vendor Management
  : Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained to standards.
• Performance Monitoring
  : Track key operational KPIs, including Speed of Service (SOS), labour productivity, and sales metrics. Use data-driven insights to drive improvement plans.
• HR & Culture Leadership
  : Work closely with the HR team to forecast staffing needs, support recruitment, and promote a positive, fair, and compliant work environment. Act as a culture ambassador, reinforcing brand values and behaviors.
• Availability & Support
  : Remain accessible to restaurant teams outside regular hours when operational needs arise, providing support and ensuring smooth business continuity.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in food service, hospitality, or retail.
• 3–5 years of multi-unit or high-level restaurant management experience.
• Strong track record in team leadership, customer satisfaction, and financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operations and drive performance improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to operational excellence and a passion for people and customer service.
