Laboratory Technologist

Our client, an established clinic, is currently seeking for a professional individual for the role of Laboratory Assistant to join their team in Nicosia.

Position's Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases (hematological, chemical, etc.)Prepare samples/specimensCollect blood (venesection*), label, and prepare samples for hematological and chemical testsProduce accurate and reliable data and interpret resultsFollow methodologies in carrying routine tasksPrepare reagents, manage inventory, and assist senior staff as neededRecord test results in the lab information system and maintain accurate documentation.Upload lab results in GESY portal.Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelinesKeep abreast of all industry developments and best practicesDocument all activities, record results and insert/retrieve dataParticipate in quality control procedures and report anomaliesMaintain work area and equipment. Assist in cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of lab equipmentProvide administrative assistancePosition's Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical or any other related field At least 2 years of related experienceFamiliarity with automated laboratory equipmentComputer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information SystemsAccuracy and close attention to detailStrong analytical judgmentFlexibility to work rotating shifts Employer's Details
