Secretary

On behalf of a client, a well-established clinic in Nicosia, we are currently seeking for a Secretary to join their team and support their operation.

Position's Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing reception area and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using our digital booking system
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information
  • Organize and update electronic and physical medical records, reports, and invoices
  • Navigate the GESY portal to upload and manage laboratory results efficiently
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize doctors' schedules
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email communications
  • Prepare and process medical documentation according to clinic protocols
Position's Requirements
  • Diploma in Office Administration, Secretarial studies, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience
  • Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting will be considered an advantage
  • Customer service background with a focus on delivering exceptional care
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems will be considered an advantage
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Fluent in Greek and English (written and verbal communication)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proven experience with the GESY healthcare portal
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when handling medical documentation
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanour with a patient-centred approach
