Job Overview

Datatech is looking for an Application Support Engineer who will represent our company at the client's location, working closely with the client while also maintaining regular communication with our software team at our base offices. You will provide hands-on technical & software support for our installed systems, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration between the client and our internal team.

The position is hybrid in nature — you will spend three days per week at the client's premises and two days at our offices, ensuring a strong balance between on-site support and internal coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop your troubleshooting skills, and grow in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for our software systems, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption to the client's operations.
• Log, track, and manage support tickets, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of client-reported issues.
• Deliver training sessions and create user documentation to help client staff maximize their use of our systems.
• Perform regular system checks, apply updates, and coordinate with the development team for more complex fixes or enhancements.
• Collect and relay client feedback, feature requests, and bug reports to our product team to inform future improvements.
• Ensure all support activities are documented according to company and ISO standards, maintaining clear records for audits and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or any other related field.
• Familiarity with software systems and a willingness to learn our technology stack (C#, .NET, Oracle, SQL, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to develop technical expertise.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Organizational skills and a proactive attitude.

Note:
The client's work hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30-15:00 and Friday 07:30-14:30.
