The company

Hydro-Comp Enterprises Ltd is an international Information technology and consulting company specialising in integrated management information systems (called EDAMS) and related services for Utilities, Municipalities and Government Environmental departments. | ).

Recent growth and current international market development have necessitated the creation of a new position in our Product Services Division headquartered in Cyprus.

The position

Systems/Support Engineer

The primary function of the position will be the technical support of EDAMS systems (Billing, Network Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance)

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environment and operating system
  • Experience in the use of MS SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and oral
  • Desire and ability to work in a challenging environment
  • Critical thinking and problem solving ability

Responsibilities

  • End-user support (on-site, telephonic & Internet)
  • Installation, set-up and configuration of EDAMS systems and ancillary products (e.g. MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports)
  • Training of end-users (managers, systems administrators and operational staff)
  • On-site assistance in the operation of EDAMS systems
  • Development of reports, dashboards and SQL scripts
