Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Montessori Lead Guide 3-6 located in Strovolos, Cyprus. The Lead Guide will design and implement lessons following Montessori principles, facilitate independent and hands-on learning, and nurture the intellectual, emotional, and social development of children. The role also involves maintaining a prepared classroom environment, observing and documenting individual student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's unique growth.

Qualifications

  • BA in Early Childhood Education
  • Montessori training and experience in early childhood education (3-6 age group preferred).
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a structured yet flexible and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent observation and record-keeping skills to track and assess student progress.
  • Proficiency in bilingual communication, particularly Greek (required) and English (beneficial).
  • Commitment to fostering sustainability, inclusion, and the values of global citizenship in the classroom.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and a passion for guiding young learners in a Montessori setting.
  • Previous experience in culturally collaborative or innovative educational projects is a plus.
  • A recognized Montessori diploma for the 3-6 age group or equivalent certification is required.
