for a qualified and experienced COMPUTER ENGINEER /COMPUTER

SCIENCE, to support our client (Well-known Company). We are

seeking a candidate as Design & Quotation Engineer to design,

specify, and cost audio-visual and conferencing solutions for

commercial applications. The role requires working closely with sales

teams, clients, and technical engineers to develop innovative AV

solutions tailored to the needs of modern commercial spaces, ensuring

high-quality designs that meet technical and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with sales teams and clients to define project requirements and

AV system specifications.

 Design and specify AV solutions for commercial environments, including:

o Boardrooms, conference rooms, and collaboration spaces

o Hotels, retail spaces, and hospitality venues

o Event spaces, auditoriums, and entertainment venues

o Command & control centres

 Develop detailed technical schematics, signal flow diagrams, and system

layouts.

 Prepare quotations, bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimates for AV system

proposals.

 Specify professional AV hardware, including:

o Video conferencing systems (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms,

Cisco Webex, Poly, Logitech, Crestron Flex).

o Display and projection systems, LED walls, digital signage, and video

walls.

o Professional audio solutions, DSPs, microphones, speakers, amplifiers,

and sound masking.

o Control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Q-SYS).

o AV-over-IP and signal processing solutions.

 Use AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools to create system diagrams and

technical documentation.

 Work with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical specifications and

pricing.

 Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for

commercial AV projects.

 Support installation teams and project managers by providing technical

guidance and system documentation.

 Stay up to date with emerging AV technologies, conferencing trends, and

integration best practices.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio-Visual Technology,

Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 2+ years of experience in AV system design, estimation, or project

engineering in the commercial sector.

 Strong knowledge of video conferencing solutions (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft

Teams, Cisco Webex).

 Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX, Q-SYS).

 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design software.

 Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies, networked AV solutions, and digital

signal processing (DSP).

 Strong understanding of acoustics, professional audio, and AV system

integration.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable and cost-

effective AV solutions.

 Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage tight

deadlines.

 Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, sales

teams, and technical staff.
