BI Data Analyst

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our team. The BI Data Analyst plays a key role in connecting businessneeds with data -driven insights. This position involves developing a strongunderstanding of how data flows across systems, from its source to itstransformation into meaningful information. A main responsibility is to ensure data accuracy, interpret trends, and provideactionable insights that support decision -making across the organization. Theanalyst is expected to go beyond standard reporting by identifyingopportunities to improve efficiency, optimize performance, and support businessgrowth. Your role at HFM:Clean, process, and analyze large datasets using SQL andPython to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends,patterns, and key metrics.Translate analytical findings into actionable insights forbusiness stakeholders, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and otherteams to support strategic decisions.Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, andDAX calculations in Power BI and SSAS.Document data flows and processes to ensure accurate andtimely integration.Create and maintain technical documentation for BI models,queries, and data processes, ensuring clarity and usability.Support business users by providing guidance and training onBI tools, dashboards, and best practices for data -driven decision -making.Provide data -driven recommendations to improve efficiency,optimize performance, and support business decisions.Follow data governance policies, ensuring compliance withaccess, security, and privacy protocols.Requirements University degree in ComputerScience, Data Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.Experience in financial servicesor brokerage environments.Proficiency in SQL andunderstanding of data modeling concepts.Experience with data warehousingand ETL processes.Proficiency in Power BI forcreating dashboards, reports, and visualizations.Working knowledge of DAX forbusiness calculations, measures, and KPIs.Experience with SQL ServerAnalysis Services (SSAS) for OLAP modeling.Strong problem -solving andanalytical skills.Effective communication andcollaboration abilities.Excellent command of the Englishlanguage.Considered a PlusKnowledge of trading platformsand understanding of trade lifecycle and order execution processes.Familiarity with MetaTrader(MT4/MT5) platforms and related data structures.Understanding of CFD tradingmechanics, including margin, leverage, and risk management.Experience working with real -timetrading data and event -driven analytics.Ability to interpret tradingperformance metrics and generate actionable insights.Awareness of regulatoryrequirements and compliance considerations.Familiarity with Python for dataanalysis and machine learning.Exposure to data science projectsrelated to trading behavior analysis.Knowledge of cloud -based datasolutions such as Microsoft Fabric.BenefitsHybrid Work Model (up to 2 days working from home).22 days of Annual Leave (reaching up to 30 days per year based on years' service)Comprehensive Health & Life Insurance (from day one)Friday afternoons off in Summer (July & August)Birthday LeaveGym Membership (Larnaca)Referral BonusPaid Time Off for Training & EducationReady to Kick Off an Exceptional Career?Join HFM and shape your future with a company that values growth, innovation and people.Sounds like you?
