Through intelligent matching and a zero-commission model, StatR enables developers to access qualified demand directly, while buyers and investors receive opportunities aligned with their objectives—without navigating endless listings or intermediaries.

Currently in its pre-launch phase, StatR is working with a select group of early partner developers to introduce a data-driven, transparent approach to real estate discovery and transactions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Tel Aviv District, Israel.

The
AI / Machine Learning Engineer
will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models that support real estate data analysis and intelligent matching.

The role involves working with structured and unstructured datasets, optimizing algorithms, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to improve system performance, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AI / Machine Learning roles
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with machine learning concepts such as pattern recognition and neural networks
  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

Conversation Intelligence & Matching (Critical):

  • Experience with
    Natural Language Processing (NLP)
    , including text classification, intent detection, and entity extraction
  • Ability to design models that
    understand user intent from free-text or conversational input
  • Experience extracting structured data from unstructured text (e.g., requirements, preferences, constraints)
  • Knowledge of building
    matching, ranking, or recommendation systems
    based on multi-criteria inputs

Data & System Design:

  • Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, relational schemas)
  • Ability to map user inputs to structured datasets and perform similarity or relevance scoring
  • Familiarity with feature engineering for real-world, noisy data

Engineering & Collaboration:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to model quality, explainability, and performance

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with transformer-based models or modern NLP architectures
  • Familiarity with vector embeddings, semantic search, or similarity search
  • Prior experience in real estate technology, marketplaces, or proptech
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
