We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed
IT Project Manager
to join our dynamic team at HFM.

This role is designed for someone who understands how IT systems work, communicates effectively with engineering teams, and manages complex cross-functional projects end-to-end.

You will work closely with our Global PMO, Product leads, and IT teams across Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Trading Platforms. You will ensure that IT projects are planned, coordinated, executed, and delivered with discipline and clarity.

Your Role at HFM:

  • Drive delivery of key IT initiatives across infrastructure, platforms, software development, DevOps, and security.
  • Coordinate with IT team leaders to confirm technical scope, dependencies, risks, and required effort.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable project plans understood by engineering teams.
  • Maintain continuous alignment between IT teams, the Global PMO, Product Owners, and other departments.
  • Manage execution timelines, monitor progress, and escalate delays or blockers proactively.
  • Ensure that project documentation, Jira structures, and Confluence pages are clear, complete, and always updated.
  • Work within agile and iterative delivery models while enforcing predictable planning and reporting.
  • Identify technical risks early and work with DevOps, Infrastructure, QA, and Developers to ensure mitigation plans are in place.
  • Prepare and present structured status updates to IT leadership and PMO.
  • Capture lessons learned, define improvements, and contribute to maturing the IT delivery model.
  • Promote strong communication discipline across all IT teams.
  • Ensure process adherence for fields, workflows, and reporting used within ITG (IT Governance) projects.

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, infrastructure concepts, DevOps workflows, and QA processes.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira mandatory, Confluence, others optional).
  • Ability to read, understand, and challenge technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and delivery estimates.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate crisply with engineers, leads, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the FX or fintech industry is an advantage.
  • PMP, Prince2, Agile, or Scrum certifications are considered an advantage.
