S. Papatheodorou & Co LLC a law firm based in Nicosia focusing primarily on Family Court cases offering exceptional personalised and specialised legal services for our clients.

Role Description

Over a year after the expansion of our operations to our offices in the Engomi/Nicosia area we are looking for a highly motivated Family and General litigation Lawyer to partner and work full-time working as a team with one junior lawyer reporting directly to the managing partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • To utilise online legal research tools, legal books and an extensive database of samples to independently produce legal work.
  • Drafting and formatting legal documents such as court pleadings, affidavits and letters.
  • Representing clients in all Cyprus Family Courts including handling trials with no supervision.
  • Maintaining written and oral communication with clients to keep them informed regarding their case.

Qualifications

  • Qualified as a lawyer in Cyprus with at least 3 years experience in handling cases in any legal field on his/her own. Experience in Family litigation will be considered as an advantage. In the interview you are required to bring with you a minimum of 3 court judgments (interim or final) which you handled and be ready to discuss them.
  • Ability to take feedback. Willingness to learn.
  • Experience in Legal costs and billing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Ability to work efficiently without supervision.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Valid driving licence.
