Sales Explorers is a boutique international business development agency partnering with leading global event organizers to deliver high-value meeting programs, executive audience engagement, and bespoke networking services. Our clients include some of the most recognized brands in the international events industry.

We are now looking for an
Events Team Manager
to lead and inspire a group of Delegate Engagement Managers and Project Executives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines
deep experience in events
with a strong background in
sales operations, marketing, or audience engagement
, and who can bring structure, motivation, and best practice to a growing delivery team.

Detailed Role Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Delegate Engagement Managers and Project Executives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture where targets are consistently met.
  • Use strong coaching and motivational skills to bring out the best in each team member.
  • Support career growth and ensure continuous development across the team.

Project Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee execution of complex event delivery projects across multiple clients and industries.
  • Manage KPIs such as meetings booked, delegate registrations, survey completions, and conversion rates.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly, balancing resources across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure operational discipline while keeping delivery flexible and client-focused.

Client & Account Management

  • Act as the senior point of contact for assigned accounts or industry verticals.
  • Join client calls, present clear progress updates, and ensure objectives are aligned.
  • Support opportunities for service expansion and upsell through excellent delivery.

Hands-On Contribution

  • Take responsibility for delivery on selected projects alongside your leadership role.
  • Demonstrate best practices in outreach, client interaction, and event delivery.

Services in Scope

You and your team will be responsible for delivering:

  • 1-1 Executive Meetings
  • Invite-Only Sessions & Leadership Summits (Executive Dinners, Workshops, Demos, Lunch Briefings)
  • Survey Completions
  • Delegate Acquisition & Event Registrations

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience 8+ years in
    B2B events
    , ideally combined with exposure to
    sales operations or marketing
    .
  • Proven track record of managing teams 5+years
    in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills – able to maximize team potential.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Target-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for on-site event delivery.
