Axia-Search are pleased to be working with one of our key clients, a global finance and advisory specialist who are looking for a Tax Supervisor to join the team.

€30,000 - €34,000

  • Can be part-qualified / Fully qulified (ACCA)
  • ADIT certificate (Desirable)

The Position

  • Providing tax advisory services to clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing corporate and individual income tax returns (e.g., TD1, TD4, TD7,
  • IR63, IR59).
  • Preparing and reviewing tax computations, provisional tax calculations, and final tax
  • assessments.
  • Ensuring timely submission of all statutory filings via Taxisnet and other electronic
  • platforms.
  • Handling client queries and correspondence with the Cyprus Tax Department.
  • Preparing VAT and VIES returns.
  • Coordinating with the audit, accounting, and corporate departments to support clients' tax
  • needs.
  • Managing deadlines and workload scheduling for the team.
  • Identifying and communicating tax and VAT risks to the clients in a timely manner.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior staff.
  • Reviewing tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.

The Requirements

  • Excellent academic qualifications University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Applied Statistics/Risk Management or a related field with overall grade of 7.0 for Cyprus Universities, 2:1 for British Universities and 3.3 for American Universities.
  • Qualified or semi-qualified ACA or ACCA student.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Taxisnet and other electronic platforms.
  • Excellent use, both oral and written, of English and Greek language.
  • Knowledge of Russian language will be considered additional advantage.
  • Excellent IT literacy (Caseware (knowledge is prerequisite), Excel, Word etc).
  • Knowledge of Caseware Tax Forms will be considered as an advantage.
