Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Limassol

Job Summary:

The successfully placed candidate will have the opportunity to complete client engagements preparing accounting in a wide variety of industries, cooperate with Audit and Tax department for the completion of clients' needs concerning Financial Reporting and Taxation matters and communicate with clients and authorities in coordination with their supervisor/manager.

Entry Requirements:

  • BSc in Economic, Accounting/ Finance or any other relevant field
  • 3 years of experience in servicing international clients
  • Experience in eSoft accounting software will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent use of Greek and English Language
  • IT literate
  • Accounting professional qualification (ACCA) is preferred, Partly or fully completed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record journal entries, make reconciliations and review general ledger accuracy.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS's and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, VIES, and other tax requirements applicable to the clients
  • Experience on handling the accounting of companies operating in the international investments and the wider technology sectors
  • Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
