(EE 9775Y4FNI) NICOSIA

We are searching for an experienced electrical engineer to oversee the

company's new construction projects.

An Electrical Engineer in construction designs, plans, and supervises the

installation of electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure. Key

responsibilities include creating detailed electrical schematics and

layouts, selecting appropriate components, ensuring compliance with

safety regulations and codes, and managing electrical contractors on

site. They collaborate with other project stakeholders, conduct site

inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the quality and functionality

of electrical systems meet project specifications and design standards.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

 System Design:

Create comprehensive electrical designs, schematics, and wiring diagrams

for a variety of applications, including lighting, power distribution, and fire

alarm systems.

 Component Selection:

Choose and specify appropriate electrical equipment, components, and

cable sizes for the project.

 Site Supervision:

Oversee the installation of electrical equipment and systems on the

construction site, working with electrical contractors and electricians.

 Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections to ensure that electrical work meets project

specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

 Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, and other engineers to integrate

electrical systems into the overall construction plan.

 Troubleshooting:

Address and resolve electrical issues that arise during the construction

process.

 Technical Support:

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the construction

team and contractors.

 Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare reports on engineering activities, compile data, and maintain

accurate records of electrical equipment and systems.

 Cost Estimation:

Estimate labor, material, and construction costs for electrical work to assist

with budget preparation.

Requirements:


• Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is typically required and be a

member of ETEK

 Technical Skills:

Proficiency in electrical design software, knowledge of electrical codes, and

understanding of high, medium, and low voltage systems.

 Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex

electrical issues.

 Communication:

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clearly

explain technical information.

 Leadership:

The ability to supervise and provide technical direction to project team members

and contractors.
