We create innovative payment methods and continuously enhance transaction security and reliability.

Our partners can accept payments from their clients across different regions using our payment infrastructure.

IT plays a central role in the company — we maintain a flat structure where all teams are equal.

Currently, we have two cross-functional development teams and one DevOps team that supports all development efforts. Each development team includes all necessary specialists to bring a task from idea to production — analysts, QAs, and developers.

Your role at Feodor

We are looking for a
Middle Business Systems Analyst

to join our team in Cyprus.

This role focuses on identifying and gathering requirements from various sources, conducting system analysis, documenting existing and new business processes, and preparing functional specifications. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and development teams to ensure smooth translation of business needs into technical solutions.

You will

• Gather and formalize requirements from the Product Manager and key stakeholders, transforming them into detailed system specifications and user stories.
• Analyze and document business processes — both existing and new — ensuring clarity, consistency, and completeness.
• Prepare technical specifications describing the implementation of requirements, including integration flows, data models, and UI specifications. Ensure all specs meet business, technical, security, and risk-protection requirements.
• Adapt existing templates to the specifics of the team or project and suggest improvements when needed.
• Create user documentation for the services developed by your team, ensuring accuracy and usability for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Resolve ambiguities and inconsistencies in requirements, identify system limitations, and propose feasible technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the development team, providing explanations and clarifications during implementation and testing.
• Support acceptance testing, ensuring delivered functionality aligns with documented business requirements.
• Participate in solution rollouts, assist in post-release analysis, and contribute to ongoing product improvements.
• Research external systems and APIs for potential integrations, including analysis of technical contracts and dependencies.

What makes you a great fit

• Around 3+ years of experience as a Business or System Analyst in product development (fintech experience would be a plus).
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation techniques (User Stories, Use Cases, BPMN, UML).
• Solid understanding of integration processes, with the ability to read and design API contracts and data schemas.
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL for querying and validating data.
• Understanding of microservice architecture and web services (REST, GRPC).
• Familiarity with non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).
• Experience with Scrum or other iterative development approaches.
• Good grasp of UI/UX fundamentals and how they relate to functional requirements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills — able to clearly bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Languages:
• English — Upper Intermediate or higher
• Russian — Advanced
• Location: Based in Cyprus (no relocation provided).
