Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead and coordinate all phases of our key business technology projects within the financial trading sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are defined, documented, and successfully completed in alignment with business needs and organizational objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial systems, and the ability to manage resources, schedules, and budgets effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Project Definition & Planning
  : Coordinate the definition, documentation, and successful execution of all phases of complex technology projects. Identify and design project objectives and scope based on business requirements.
• Implementation & Documentation
  : Manage the implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with agreed project management standards. Oversee the realization of benefits for key business technology initiatives, ensuring proper documentation is in place.
• Performance Monitoring
  : Track project milestones, KPIs, and key metrics. Identify and resolve potential issues, tracking actual vs. projected expenses and analyzing variances to forecast future spending.
• Risk Management
  : Propose risk mitigation strategies to project boards, ensuring proper remediation plans. Develop dashboards and monitoring tools to track and communicate project progress effectively.
• Stakeholder Management
  : Collaborate closely with all project stakeholders to ensure that expectations are managed, and project deliverables meet business needs. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Project Execution
  : Define, document, and execute project phases actively, identifying and managing risks to the success of the project. Ensure projects are completed within agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeframes.
• Budget & Resource Management
  : Estimate costs, resource requirements, and timelines for project delivery. Monitor and control costs, timescales, and resource usage, taking action as necessary to stay within project tolerances.
• Scheduling & Reporting
  : Prepare and maintain realistic project schedules and quality plans. Track project progress and report regularly to senior management, clients, and users.
• Change Control
  : Manage the change control process, obtaining approval for revisions from project sponsors and ensuring changes are documented and communicated effectively.
• Project Closure & Review
  : Ensure projects are formally closed, reviewed, and documented. Capture lessons learned and ensure follow-up actions are taken for continuous improvement.

Primary Experience Required:

Experience:

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in project management, specifically in IT Fintech projects with direct business impact, utilizing industry-standard project management methodologies, tools, and planning/control techniques.

• Proven experience with budget control and managing financial aspects of projects.

Qualifications:

Education
: A first-level university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications
: Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) is highly desirable.

• Strong skills in project planning, including the ability to analyze, plan, execute, and evaluate work to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Expertise in assessing and evaluating risks, foreseeing the impact of actions, and implementing appropriate solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of systems analysis and design using industry-standard methodologies.
• Ability to manage and evaluate project changes, advising on available standards, methods, and tools in your specialization.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships in a multicultural environment.
