SCOPE OF POSITION

The
Regional Managing Director
–
Cyprus & MEA
will hold full P&L responsibility for Euronet's Independent ATM Networks in
Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco
and
Malta
as well as further markets to be developed in the region, and will be accountable for achieving aggressive growth plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the short- and medium-term strategies, manage the P&L statements and indirectly manage the Finance and Operations teams:

-Coordinate strategy and tactics with Euronet EFT top management for the development and achievement of growth targets, including an aggressive 3-year plan.

-Fully responsible for the monthly P&L, staffing needs, and opportunities for top line growth and cost line reductions.

-Manage the local Country Managers and oversee the support functions (Operations, Finance) within a matrix organization.

  • Manage the aggressive expansion of the Independent ATM Networks in the assigned countries comprising of both standalone and key account ATM locations (e.g. shopping malls, currency exchange stores, airports, retail chains):

-Become proficient in the value proposition, functionality, implementation requirements and competitive alternatives to Euronet's Independent ATM Networks.

-Develop and manage a direct sales plan based upon the financial targets agreed and assigned.

-Evaluate the local markets and competition landscape.

-Build strong, direct relationships with existing and prospective clients based upon trust, respect and ethical conduct.

  • Develop and manage a sales team with local country management as required to exceed the assigned financial performance targets:

-Identify, recruit and hire qualified sales/business development individuals.

-Establish quantifiable, measurable sales targets and manage the sales team to succeed in achieving such targets.

-Perform periodic performance evaluations of local country management and sales teams, and identify opportunities for advancement and improvement.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree preferably in Business orientated disciplines. Professional training in Sales is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales, 5 of which in management positions within multinational companies in sectors like financial services, retail, FMCG or other growth-oriented companies.
  • P&L and General Management experience.
  • A proven track record in achieving aggressive growth targets, managing sales teams and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong English language skills (both verbal and written).
