Job Overview

As a Trading Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting trading data to support our trading strategies and decision-making processes. You will work closely with our trading, risk management, and technology teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a deep understanding of the financial markets and the ability to provide actionable insights.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret trading data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor trading performance and market conditions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support trading strategies and decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth research on financial markets to understand market dynamics and identify potential trading opportunities.
  • Stay updated with market news, economic events, and regulatory changes that may impact trading activities.
  • Collaborate with trading and risk management teams to develop and refine trading strategies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing trading strategies and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
  • Assist in back-testing and simulation of trading strategies to ensure their robustness.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of trading data.
  • Develop and implement data quality control processes to maintain high data standards.
  • Work with IT and technology teams to improve data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
  • Monitor and analyse risk metrics to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in developing risk management frameworks and tools to support trading activities.
Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Trading Data Analyst, preferably in the Forex/FinTech industry.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, SQL, or similar.
  • Experience with trading platforms, market data feeds, and financial databases.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial markets is a plus.
