Key Responsibilities:

  • Record bookkeeping transactions.
  • Handle multi-currency transactions and conversions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable at month end.
  • Process and record invoices.
  • Reporting of Trial Balances to the Financial Controller on a timely basis monthly as they will incorporated into the Group's consolidation.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Implement and improve financial processes and controls.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • LCCI Higher in accounting or Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification holder and/or
  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar accounting assistant/bookkeeping position, preferably in a global company.
  • Working knowledge/experience of the Accounting Software SAP.
  • Some knowledge of Cyprus VAT and Tax Legislation.
  • Strong background in multi-currency financial management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Command on English both written and communication.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Hard working, dynamic, driven and self-motivated.
