Financial Planning and Analysis Role

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist at Emerald Zebra, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining OneStream applications. This involves communicating with stakeholders to apply business requirements and translate them into the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure financial consolidation, business planning, and budgeting functions in OneStream according to stakeholder requests.
  • Partner with key super users to design solutions, assess architecture, and create roadmaps for finance planning, consolidation, and BI analytics.
  • Develop cube views and dashboards in OneStream applications.
  • Maintain system metadata and ERP mapping objects.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot financial calculations in OneStream.
  • Provide support to EPM users, collaborate with the implementation partner on issue resolution, and work with the group finance team on updating and writing SOPs as needed.
  • Develop project documentation, such as business requirements and system guides.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with experience in Finance/Accounting automation projects, or a degree in Finance/Accounting with experience in IT system implementation.
  • Relevant experience in automation and development of financial consolidation, business planning, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting in roles of Business analyst, System analyst, Consultant, or Developer.
  • Background in maintaining financial applications and supporting business users.
  • Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken, including presentation skills.
  • Good time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL or any programming language.
  • An analytical mindset and a passion for developing a unique blend of knowledge in finance and IT.
  • Familiarity with other relevant tools, such as Hyperion, SAP BPC, LucaNet, MS D365, etc., is an advantage.
