
Conference Manager

We are hiring on behalf of our client a Conference Manager, who will be working on the biggest expos and conferences in the fintech industry, online trading, and digital assets. This role is responsible for organizing and curating the event agenda, topics and speakers.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching and developing exceptional event agendas, identifying key industry topics and securing high-profile speakers. Your expertise will ensure that our events feature cutting-edge content and attract leading figures in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage processes and timelines for content development and curation.
- Curate and craft content to suggest agenda journeys based on audience and learning levels.
- Perform market and industry research to craft content that aligns with the overarching event content strategy and audience demographics, maximising attendee learning experiences.
- Research and build relationships with leading industry speakers and brands.
- Oversee the entire speaker account management flow as the main point of contact.
- Manage and organize speaker participation and all related logistics.
- Manage deadlines and interdependencies to ensure established milestones are met.
- Execute the agenda on-site during events, cooperating with AV and stage production vendors, coordinating to ensure the schedule runs smoothly, handling speaker hospitality, managing no-shows, delays, or technical issues.
- Maintain a resource centre and content management tool for planning and post-show leverage.
- Partner closely with the sales, marketing, event production, and development teams to oversee all content aspects.
- Organize and manage all communication with speakers (invitations, guidelines, pre- and post-show communications) as well as managing design elements (social media designs, stage screen designs, agenda screens at events).
- Manage the event website agenda section through the back office, ensuring all schedules and speakers are up to date.
- Produce content and contribute to pre-event attendee marketing and communications to generate program interest, content excitement, and session registration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder in a relevant sector
- Experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
- Excellent writing and verbal skills in professional-level English.
- Proficiency in designing agendas, identifying and managing speakers and creating engaging event (conference) experiences.
- Capability to research relevant event industries, gather real-life examples and case studies, and incorporate them into event content to educate participants and enhance expertise
- Content curation and/or project management experience, preferably related to large-scale events
- Understanding of financial markets, particularly online trading, fintech and cryptocurrency.
- Public speaking skills, including the ability to host and introduce speakers
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
