A n Affiliate Network invites you to be a part of it as its Affiliate Manager

The affiliate manager is responsible for the management and growth of the affiliate program. The affiliate manager will recruit new affiliates, build and maintain relationships with existing affiliates, and develop strategies to grow the affiliate program. The affiliate manager will also be responsible for creating and managing affiliate marketing campaigns, analyzing affiliate performance data, and troubleshooting affiliate issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and/or online marketing. They will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with key affiliates to drive traffic and conversions
  • Negotiate terms of affiliate agreements, ensuring that company interests are represented
  • Recruit new affiliates by identifying opportunities and reaching out to potential partners
  • Monitor affiliate activity to ensure compliance with terms of agreements and company policies
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on all products and services offered by the company to be able to effectively promote them to affiliates
  • Develop creative promotional materials and strategies to encourage higher levels of participation from affiliates
  • Manage affiliate payments, issuing timely commissions based on agreed-upon terms
  • Generate regular reports on affiliate performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
  • collaborate with other departments within the company, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
  • Attend relevant conferences and networking events to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential affiliates
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in online marketing, affiliate marketing, or similar role
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful affiliate programs
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPA, CPL, CPS, etc.)
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp or Constant Contact
  • PPC/SEM experience
