Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
The MetaTrader Operations role exists to ensure the seamless functioning, configuration, and support of MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms across global retail trading environments. This position is critical for maintaining operational integrity, enabling market access, and supporting client trade execution through close coordination with trading, compliance, development, and client services teams. The role serves as the operational backbone for managing trading environments, resolving platform issues, and implementing enhancements that align with business continuity, regulatory requirements, and product evolution.

Primary duties will include
:
MetaTrader Operations:

• Maintain Trading Configurations (Symbols, Securities and Groups, bridge, plugins, gateways) on all Meta Trader demo and live servers
• Manage Trading Markets of the MetaTrader environment for internal and external users
• Responsible for operational support of Meta
• Testing, adding, removing, and configuring of Plugins and Gateways
• Generating various reports from MT4/MT5 databases by coding SQL queries
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Meta, specifically in relation to market creation, market maintenance, and market settings
• Collaborates with the Meta Product team to ensure accurate administration of markets and master settings across all MetaTrader instances. This responsibility spans all teams interacting with the platform and requires close coordination with Trading Operations, Release Management, and Business Continuity to uphold platform consistency, operational reliability, and compliance standards.
• Fosters a synergistic role with Commercial and Product teams by establishing a dedicated working group aimed at maximizing value from vendors. This position is instrumental in cultivating a productive and strategic partnership with vendors to drive platform enhancements and operational efficiencies.

Head of Brokerage:

• Supervise and Optimize the Brokerage Department
• Monitoring the operations of the Trading Platforms
• Interacting with the ADMIN team and troubleshooting any issues that arise
• Keep up to date with Market News, Market Trends and Corporate Actions
• Keep up to date with the prevailing regulatory framework
• Monitor Best Execution services
• Analyse the Best Execution Reports
• Able to spot abusive market trading behaviour
• Assisting on Transactions Reporting (EMIR/MiFIR)

Qualifications
To land this role you will need
:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work in shifts, where needed
• At least 3 years previous experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of the MT4/5 Trading Platform (Client Terminal, Manager, Administrator)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details

Education / Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant degree or equivalent training
• Holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate will be considered an advantage
