About the job

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our rapidly growing workforce in Nicosia, Cyprus. The ideal candidate is an organized individual with attention to detail and with a keen interest in the fascinating world of Investment Finance and Financial Markets. Relevant professional experience within the financial industry is a prerequisite for this medium-tier role. The successful applicant will be expected to lead the Investment Advisory function of the Group.

The 7Q Investment Group operates from its offices in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Group provides financial and administration services to Organizations, Investment Funds, Pension Funds, Provident Funds, Insurance Companies and High Net Worth Individuals. The Group offers a dynamic and young workplace with opportunities for professional growth and development through direct exposure to both conventional and innovative investment projects.

Key Responsibilities

The 
Head of Investment Advisory
 will be expected to:

  • Lead the investment advice function of the Group and actively prepare detailed Advisory Notes providing information to prospects and existing clients about financial markets and investment opportunities.

  • Maintain a key role in the Group's investment decision and investment appraisal mechanisms by preparing relevant analysis and financial models.

  • Conduct frequent analysis of the macro environment in global financial markets and prepare relevant communication with the Group's stakeholders.

  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of the suitability and appropriateness assessment process and prepare relevant reports, in line with MiFID requirements.

  • Maintain proficiency and knowledge in the financial services and products offered by the Group, the relevant legislation, and market developments.

  • Prepare presentations and contact prospect and existing clients.

  • Constantly keep being informed and aware of any amendments with respect to the Investment Firms Law, relevant EU Regulations and Circulars issued by CySEC.

  • Any other Ad-hoc activities not listed above may occur on an as and when basis.

Requirements

  • Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or other related field
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills, motivation, and ability to work under pressure and within a team
  • Computer and numerical literacy (excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Advanced CySEC certificate
