We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading corporate services provider working with international clients across the e-commerce, iGaming, and iGambling industries. They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting department, drive operational excellence, and ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.

The Role

As Accounting Manager, you will oversee a team of accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and outstanding client service. You will play a key role in managing complex accounting matters, developing industry-specific expertise, and fostering a performance-driven culture within the department. This is a client-facing leadership role where strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and people management skills are equally important.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants, ensuring clarity of roles, high performance, and professional development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for high-value international clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Oversee bookkeeping, management accounts, statutory and consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage complex accounting issues including revenue recognition, intercompany reconciliations, and multi-currency transactions.
  • Collaborate with Tax and Audit teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Implement best practices in accounting processes, automation, and digitalization.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and provide insights relevant to clients in the e-commerce and iGaming sectors.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by identifying opportunities for service expansion and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role leading a team of 5+ accountants.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting practices.
  • Experience with high-volume transaction environments and multi-currency consolidations.
  • Proven track record of working with international clients, ideally in e-commerce or iGaming.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERPs, cloud accounting systems, and BI tools.
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance is an advantage.
