Amega Group is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the strategic financial goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Managing payroll processing
  • Performing regular account reconciliations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensuring compliance with local and international standards
  • Assisting in the preparation for audits and working closely with external auditors

Requirements:

  • Experience working with CRM,Live chats and MetaTrader 4 / 5 platform
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the fintech industry
  • Familiarity with Codeworks software will be considered an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
