Senior Accountant

Amega Group is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the strategic financial goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities

Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

Managing payroll processing

Performing regular account reconciliations

Collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies

Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensuring compliance with local and international standards

Assisting in the preparation for audits and working closely with external auditors

Requirements:

Experience working with CRM,Live chats and MetaTrader 4 / 5 platform

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the fintech industry

Familiarity with Codeworks software will be considered an advantage

Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting principles and regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in financial software and MS Excel

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
