Accountant (Junior, Mid, Senior Levels)

Our client is a well-established consulting firm supporting businesses across
Fintech, eCommerce, and iGaming
. They are expanding their Accounting team and are looking for motivated professionals at all experience levels who want to grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day bookkeeping, and working closely with the Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professionally, and contribute to the financial operations of a fast-growing client portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks
  • Record and process accounting transactions
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and organized accounting records
  • Prepare VAT returns, payroll reports, and liaise with Social Insurance, Income Tax, and VAT authorities
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank accounts
  • Update financial data and ensure proper documentation and filing
  • Calculate payroll taxes, social insurance contributions, and income tax for individuals and companies
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices according to agreed terms
  • Assist with daily banking tasks and update the daily cash flow
  • Communicate with clients as needed
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through positive and professional interactions
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (seniority level will be assessed based on experience)
  • Basic knowledge of VAT regulations, Social Insurance, and Tax authorities
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., E-soft, Odoo)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English
  • Proactive, adaptable, and IT-literate
  • High level of integrity and a positive, can-do attitude
