We offer a comprehensive range of services in the payment processing industry, including Schemes and Proprietary Debit/Credit/Prepaid Card Issuing, Clearing, Authorization, Reconciliation, Merchant Acquiring, Transaction Management, Infrastructure Support and Maintenance, PCI Compliance, Schemes Compliance, end-to-end Processing, and Consultancy.

Job Description: Financial Controller

09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting standards, tax regulations, and international reporting requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align financial objectives with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CPA is preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial management, ideally in fintech, technology, or payments.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus accounting standards, IFRS, and local tax legislation.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English (Greek is an advantage).
