About Us

Smoothie Factory Cyprus is a fast-growing franchise committed to health, wellness, and innovation in the food & beverage sector. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team and oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

·       Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

·       Maintain general ledger entries and ensure timely closing of accounts.

·       Perform regular bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.

·       Prepare Management Reports

·       Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with Cyprus regulations.

·       Liaise with tax authorities and auditors as required.

·       Ensure full compliance with local financial, accounting, and tax legislation.

·       Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.

·       Handle social insurance and tax deductions for employees.

·       Maintain employee-related financial records in compliance with regulations.

·       Monitor daily cash flow and support management with financial planning.

·       Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.

·       Provide analysis and recommendations to improve financial efficiency.

·       Maintain effective financial controls and procedures.

·       Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·       Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.

·       Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting/finance, preferably in retail, F&B, or a similar sector.

·       Strong knowledge of Cyprus VAT legislation, payroll procedures, and financial reporting standards.

·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Powersoft365, or similar) and MS Excel.

·       Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

·       Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
