About the Role

We are seeking a Legal & Compliance Manager with a strong iGaming background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience within the iGaming industry, holding a Bachelor's degree in Law and proven expertise in legal drafting, licensing, and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance through regular audits, and identify and mitigate risks in customer onboarding and due diligence. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations adhere to Tier 1 jurisdiction regulations, while providing legal advisory across the business. Knowledge of crypto regulations will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and partnership deals.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage and oversee licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory filings within Tier 1 jurisdictions.
  • Monitor, interpret, and implement new and existing regulatory requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable gaming laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance policies, procedures, and risk frameworks.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and internal audits to identify risks and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Act as the point of contact with regulatory authorities and external legal advisors.
  • Support the business with compliance matters relating to AML, responsible gaming, data protection, and other key regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance on emerging regulatory areas, including crypto-related regulations where applicable.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive KYC policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the iGaming industry in a legal/compliance role.
  • Solid understanding of Tier 1 jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating contracts and handling legal advisory.
  • Strong knowledge of licensing and compliance processes within iGaming.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and tools.
  • Familiarity with AML, data protection, and responsible gaming requirements.
  • Knowledge of crypto-related regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive matters with discretion, and provide clear, pragmatic legal advice.
