Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Compliance Manager located in Limassol Municipality. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. Daily tasks include developing and implementing compliance programs, reviewing company procedures, and advising management on compliance matters. The Compliance Manager will also conduct regular audits, prepare reports, and coordinate compliance training sessions for employees.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in regulatory compliance and legal standards
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs
  • Proficiency in conducting audits and preparing compliance reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the finance or professional services industry is a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure the company complies with all local and international forex regulations (e.g., FCA, CySEC, ASIC, DFSA, ESMA, etc.).

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of forex laws, AML/CFT laws, and financial regulations in all jurisdictions of operation.
  • Liaise with regulators and licensing authorities regarding filings, renewals, and compliance audits.
  • Oversee the licensing process and ensure all required authorizations are current.
  • Monitor changes in financial services regulations and assess their impact on business operations.

Develop and implement AML/CTF policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes for high-risk clients.
  • Supervise ongoing transaction monitoring to detect suspicious activities.

Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and operational risks related to forex trading activities.

  • Implement and review internal controls to prevent regulatory breaches.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and prepare risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure proper segregation of client funds and monitor adherence to client money protection rules.

Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.

  • Promote a compliance culture within the organization.
  • Keep staff informed of regulatory changes and their implications.
