Junior Lawyer

WizBay is a members-only flash sales e-commerce platform, focused exclusively on luxury brands, fashion, and lifestyle products. With a 24-year-old domain and strong digital authority, WizBay is now preparing its official launch in Italy, beginning from Milan. As a fast-growing platform, we require strong legal and compliance support to ensure contracts, policies, and user information are properly managed.

Role Overview

The Internal Legal & Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all internal legal and compliance matters within WizBay. This includes contracts with partners, collaboration with our external law firm on Terms & Conditions and platform policies, content for FAQs, and seller verification. The role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication with legal advisors, and a solid understanding of how the platform operates.

This position is offered in a hybrid model: a combination of office hours and remote work to ensure both flexibility and structured collaboration.

Core Responsibilities

·      Contracts & Agreements Management: Organize, promote, and monitor all contracts with partners; prepare and review other agreements as needed; ensure compliance and follow-up on obligations.

·      Terms & Conditions & Legal Policies: Work in close cooperation with the external law firm to draft, review, and implement the platform's Terms & Conditions; ensure platform policies (refunds, dispute resolution, privacy, etc.) are legally sound and updated; apply these policies across the platform in alignment with Italian and EU regulations.

·      Content & Information: Draft and maintain the FAQ content for the platform, ensuring clarity and transparency for all users; provide sellers and buyers with accurate legal and operational information.

·      Platform Understanding & Legal Communication: Gain complete knowledge of the platform's processes and structure; communicate effectively with the external law firm; explain operational flows and implement their legal guidance internally.

·      Seller Verification & Compliance: Perform legal and compliance checks on companies registering through the platform; verify identity and business documentation to ensure authenticity and prevent fraud.

·      Additional Support: Handle any other legal or compliance-related needs to support the platform's proper organization and safe operation; provide proactive input on risk management and regulatory compliance.
