Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Accountant role based in Limassol, Cyprus. The Assistant Accountant will handle routine financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial statements, conducting cost analyses, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities also include data entry, maintaining accurate records, supporting tax and audit processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial reporting
  • Knowledge of accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar
  • Attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
  • Prior experience in accounting or a related field; experience within the IT sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek is advantageous
