A leading group in the legal, accounting, banking, advisory and financial services industry is seeking for a talented banking administrator to join the Banking Department of the Group.

The individual who fills this position will perform the day-to-day banking for a mixture of trusts and/or companies formed either in Cyprus or registered in various jurisdictions. This includes handling the banking administration of all aspects of a designated portfolio by dealing with all banking-related correspondence.

The ideal candidate will report to the Head of the Banking Department and/or Directors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·    Collect, complete the relevant documentation and submit the relevant banking applications for the opening of a client's bank account to various bank institutions either in Cyprus or in other institutions

·    Be responsible of the administration work and maintain an orderly filing system in all databases relating to customers

·    Work with bank institutions and other teams of the group to ensure all regulations are in line and in accordance with company's policies and procedures

·    Ensure good cooperation with clients and other departments for the completion of client's requests

·    Manage and administer day to day functions of the department

·    Build key relations with clients and banking institutions through best banking practices

·    Follow up the KYC and AML procedures of the group

·    Assist in the audit support of clients by collecting the relevant documents

·    Handle bank payments and transfers either on behalf of clients

Candidate profile / Requirements

·    Banking, Accounting or any other similar degree

·    Comprehensive knowledge of Banking services practices

·    Understanding of AML, FATCA and CSR Regulations

·    Experience and understanding of Financial Statements and basic accounting

·    Previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar role is required for this role

·    Fluent in English and Greek language, both verbal and written

·    Team player, highly organised, able to multitask, work well under pressure and deliver on time.

·    Strong communication skills

·    Computer literate
