We are looking for a
Payments Systems & Finance Operations Manager
to lead two mission-critical areas for our business:

• the orchestration of our global payment provider stack,
• and key cross-functional finance operations projects across product, marketing, legal, and analytics.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on, structured, and curious professional with experience in payment systems who now wants to move closer to the business and expand into broader finance and monetization infrastructure.

You'll work directly with the CFO and interface with product teams, marketing, legal, and engineering. Your mandate will be to (1)
reduce friction, lower costs, and ensure payment and finance systems are fast, reliable, and ready for scale (2) coordinate and drive financial and cross-functional finance projects aiming to streamline teamwork and ensuring quality
.

Key responsibilities:

Payment Infrastructure Ownership

• Manage and expand our payment provider ecosystem: onboarding, configuration, and maintenance across multiple regions and legal entities.
• Own relationships with PSPs (e.g. Stripe, Paddle, Braintree, Adyen), ensure high availability and compliance (KYC/KYB, PCI, 3DS, anti-fraud).
• Build and maintain a fallback framework with redundant PSPs for resilience.
• Monitor key payment metrics: conversion rate, failure rate, chargebacks, transaction costs.
• Act as the internal point of contact for product and business teams launching new flows or expanding into new geographies.
• Track and analyze payment performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Finance Operations Projects

• Assist to the CFO in leading and coordination initiatives within finance department as well as cross-functional projects.
• Ensure cross-functional coordination through clear documentation, structured follow-ups, and stakeholder accountability to keep projects on track.
• Build and manage systems of record - including trackers, calendars, and shared folders.
• Coordinate the financial setup and support for new product launches, pricing changes, and entity-level expansions.
• Drive automation across manual workflows and help reduce operational overhead in finance processes.

Requirements:

• Must-have: 3+ years of experience in end-to-end managing complex PSP infrastructure in a well-established product-driven companies (selection, integration, compliance and operations).
• Must have: Hands-on experience with subscription-based business models, managing and optimizing web-to-web and web-to-app payments.
• Track record of building internal payment architecture and orchestrating incoming payments through PSPs.
• Experience with web funnels payment optimization is a plus.
• Experience of handling high-volume operational workflows such as chargebacks, refunds, reconciliations and technical or gateway issues.
• Strong overall financial acumen (FP&A or reporting background preferably) and relevant project-management experience.
• Experience in mobile app businesses is a real plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, marketing, tech/developers, finance, support and external partners.
• Result-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated in execution.
• Clear and confident communicator, effective at navigating both internal teams and external partners.
• Strong written and spoken English.
