Core Network Engineer

Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client, a leading international company in the technology and telecommunications industry, is seeking to recruit a Core Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining core network solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Core Network infrastructure with a primary focus on IMS and PS services and Cloud Core architecture
  • Integrate and manage LTE and VoLTE services within a virtualized Core Network environment
  • Conduct regular assessments of risks in the core network elements according to company's guidelines and implement solutions and fixes as needed
  • Troubleshoot network issues in physical and virtual network layers and coordinate with senior engineers for problem resolution, ensuring high availability and network performance
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports for core network activities as required
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identify improvements and support future network enhancements
  • Plan, organize and execute network operations, including capacity expansions, release upgrades and patch updates in all kind of Core Network elements as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, IT, MIS or a related field
  • Technical experience and background in similar positions will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written Greek and English communication skills
