Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client, a leading international company in the technology and telecommunications industry, is seeking to recruit an IP Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable IP-based networks

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, configuration and maintenance of Datacom/IP networks for carrier and enterprise customers
  • Support installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of routers, switches and firewalls Monitor network performance and perform basic fault analysis and coordinate with more experience engineers for problem resolution
  • Support the development of high-level design, low-level design of new network solutions
  • Prepare documentation relevant to configuration, processes and troubleshooting steps
  • Learn and apply networking protocols such as TCP/IP, OSFP, MPLS, VLANs etc
  • Provide support to customers, perform regular maintenance tasks in network, network element upgrades/updates etc

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, IT, MIS or a related field
  • Previous technical experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, both written and spoken
