The Role

Harneys Fiduciary is seeking a competent Financial Accountant Assistant (12-month FTC) to join our Cyprus office team and directly report into the Head of Finance. This position is office-based at our Limassol office.

The Financial Accountant Assistant is an integral part of the Finance Team mainly supporting the Cayman and is responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within the firm's services.

What You'll Be Doing

The successful applicant will be working alongside the global finance function of a leading international offshore fiduciary firm. The Financial Accountant Assistant is accountable for processing and monitoring transactions to ensure they are recorded in accordance with the firm policy and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities


• Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoices


• Provide finance operation support and cover by processing Revenue related transactions (billing, cash receipts & client monies) and Bank transactions (Bank Reconciliations) to maintain an up-to-date status of the firm's working capital and liquidity position


• Work proactively to enhance the accuracy of the Firm's financial reporting and meet set deadlines


• Liaise with different global teams to resolve matters


• Provide support mainly to the other jurisdiction Fiduciary teams

• Knowledge and experience of accounting systems and applications


• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel


• Excellent organisation skills


• Ability to cope under pressure to meet deadlines
