GenPro is seeking a
Junior Platform & Data Administrator
to play a dual role in both the
development
and
administration
of our next-generation procurement platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with an academic background in artificial intelligence and data science to apply their skills in a practical business environment, contributing to innovation while ensuring smooth platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of GenPro's procurement platform, including data modelling, feature testing, and performance optimisation.
  • Collect, clean, and analyse procurement and supplier data to identify trends, benchmarks, and insights.
  • Collaborate with developers and business teams to integrate AI-driven features such as predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making for management and clients.
  • Maintain the procurement platform's daily operation, including user administration, data updates, and system integrity.
  • Provide first-line support for users and suppliers, troubleshooting issues and escalating as required.
  • Prepare and maintain platform documentation, user guidelines, and training materials.
  • Liaise with IT/development partners to ensure timely updates, patches, and system improvements.

Qualifications

(The qualification requirements are the minimum requirements)

  • BSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence
    (or other related discipline).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with datasets.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application in business processes.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of system/platform administration (user management, troubleshooting).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn within a dynamic team environment.
