We are searching IB teachers (methodist - educator) to join our private nursery school Funscool.

If you are passionate about building the knowledge and skills of the future generation, this exciting opportunity enables you to lead your students through a broad range of subjects, sparking their natural curiosity. We appreciate project-based approaches in education and multicultural communication. You should be capable of teaching children with different English levels within the same class. As a part of the team, you are representing Funschool on and off campus.

Our international nursery school is located in the center of Limassol, Cyprus, and is a full-time school for 1,5 - 5-year-old students from different cultures. We provide multidirectional world-class education in multiple languages to help every child find their place in an incredibly dynamic, multinational world.

Requirements:

l QTS or degree qualification in teaching

l International experience of working with children and their parents

l Working permission for the Republic of Cyprus or willingness to get one

l The ability to adapt and provide a tailored approach to a variety of children's needs

l A strong work ethic and passion for developing children

Responsibilities:

l Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines, keeping up to date with changes

l Creating engaging lessons to involve pupils of all abilities, coordinating with colleagues and TAs where needed

l Setting up the classroom, organizing displays and equipment

l Using a mix of resources to enhance pupil's exploration of the topic

l Using different teaching methods, including whole class, group work, independent research, demonstrations, experiments, and play, to motivate and encourage interaction in the class

l Providing help and support to individual pupils as required, taking responsibility for their academic progress

l Creating a learning environment that pupils respect and enjoy

l Setting expectations for discipline and behavior including dealing with inappropriate behavior according to school policy

l Liaising with other teachers through meetings to provide the best possible support

l Providing a safe, healthy environment, and following safeguarding procedures

l Organizing and participating in outings, social activities, and sports events

l Attending meetings and parent's evenings

l Liaising with senior leadership, parents, and external bodies about progress, behavior, child protection, and health

l Supervision of the teaching staff. Interaction with the network's methodologists, adaptation and support of teachers together with the methodologists of the bilingual program
