, the largest and most trusted news organization in Cyprus, is entering an exciting phase of digital growth and transformation. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Head of Finance to play a key role in the Group's future.

This is a senior role reporting directly to the CEO.

Role Overview

The Head of Finance will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the group. You will work closely with the leadership and senior team to provide high-quality financial insights, strengthen operational efficiency, and support the modernisation of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the leadership team to provide financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting
  • Deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts and board reporting
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, tax, VAT, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, risk management, and financial governance
  • Modernize finance processes and spearhead the implementation and optimization of the ERP/accounting system
  • Strengthen financial reporting, automation, and data visibility across the organization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA)
  • 5+ years department head in a trading company; media, digital, publishing or advertising experience is a strong advantage
  • Ability to manage and supervise the finance function and team
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and Cyprus tax framework
  • Solid experience with ERP/accounting systems and financial digitalization
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments
