to join our team on a full-time basis as a
Head of Accounting
.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA qualification
    is essential
  • Bachelor's degree
    in accounting, finance, or any other relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience
    in accounting; Prior experience in a senior role will be considered an advantage
  • Strong computer literacy,
    including proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of
    SAP, CYCOM Payroll software
    , and
    CaseWare
  • Excellent command
    of
    Greek & English,
    both spoken and written
  • Ability to
    multi-task and meet tight deadlines
    under pressure
  • Strong understanding of
    financial reporting, tax compliance, accounting principles, and payroll
  • Excellent
    analytical skills
    and
    attention to detail
  • strong
    interpersonal and communication skills,
    and a collaborative
    team player
  • Professionalism, responsibility, and integrity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review accounting work for
    multinational entities
    (CY, BVI, Bahamas, Marshall, UAE)
  • Review and prepare
    management accounts
  • Liaise with external auditors
    for the preparation of audited financial statements for companies of the group
  • Review
    VAT returns
    and calculations
  • Prepare the
    annual budget
    for the Board of Directors
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of
    tax returns
    (TD1, TD4 TD614, TD7)
  • Prepare
    payroll reports
    on monthly basis
  • Review
    tax computations
    for temporary tax payments and GHS/SDC obligations, primarily for CY entities with rental income
  • Handle any other
    ad-hoc projects
    , as requested by management
