Junior Financial Assistant For Eu-Funded Research  And  Innovation Projects

JOB DUTIES

The main duty of the Junior Financial Assistant is to provide support to Task Leaders as deemed necessary. Throughout the course of collaboration, they will primarily undertake the following tasks:

Timesheets

­  Assist in the review and organization of project, and global timesheets.

­  Verify telcos, meetings, and travel arrangements.

­  Monitor implementation progress and ensure finalization within the set deadline.

·
Archiving and Recording

­  Manage physical and electronic archiving of expense-related supporting documents, such as contracts, amendments, invoices, timesheets, etc.

­  Assist with the monthly recording of equipment expenses

­  Support with the data entry of expenses related to EU-funded projects

·
Handle Expense Records

­  Record expenses

­  Ensure they align with accounting transactions and bank statements

·
Reports

­  Contribute to the collection, processing, and reviewing of data required for the preparation of reports.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should have:

· BSc degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields

· Very good knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on MS Excel

· Fluency in English and Greek (both spoken and written)

· Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

· Ability to manage the tasks and deliverables to schedule

· Organizational and time management skills

· Relevant work experience will be considered as a plus
