Trading System Specialist

Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Trading Platforms Engineer with deep expertise in MT4/MT5 administration and trading infrastructure, who can also grow into a team leadership role within our rapidly expanding global brokerage operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our trading platforms, as well as contributing to strategic technical decision-making for our trading stack.

What You'll Do:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize all production and test environments of MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms.
• Oversee and manage the deployment, configuration, and tuning of trading execution engines, including bridges and aggregators (e.g., PrimeXM, OneZero, Centroid etc..).
• Supervise plugin development, management, and deployment, ensuring high performance and stability.
• Act as a technical point of contact for liquidity providers, bridge vendors, pricing feeds, and related third-party services.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) solutions for trading systems to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and access control in coordination with InfoSec and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle corporate actions, swaps management, instrument configuration, and day-to-day operational controls of the trading environment.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolution of trading-related incidents, including mispricing, latency, or order execution anomalies.
• Provide trade support escalation and ensure SLAs are met in collaboration with internal trading desks and risk teams.
• Drive monitoring automation, alerts, and reporting for platform performance metrics (latency, connectivity, pricing anomalies, etc.).
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support custom integrations, APIs, and back-office automation.
• Participate in or lead technical evaluations of hosting decisions (e.g., co-location with LPs, Equinix LD4 strategy).

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing MT4 and/or MT5 platforms in a production trading environment.
• Proven experience with bridge and aggregator technologies (e.g., PrimeXM, OneZero, Centroid, Tools for Brokers).
• Strong understanding of market data, execution latency, and LP routing logic.
• Familiarity with FIX protocols, MT4/MT5 APIs, and plugin-based architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and deep understanding of pricing, execution, and trade life-cycle events.
• Demonstrated experience working with co-location hosting, latency-sensitive setups, and network optimizations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Linux administration, or automation scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience in managing or mentoring a technical team.
• Exposure to regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, ESMA, DORA) impacting trading infrastructure.
• Understanding of risk engines, margin systems, or back-office reconciliation flows.
