Meritorius Audit Ltd, a reputable and dynamic audit firm based in Limassol, Cyprus, is expanding its External Audit team and is seeking to recruit ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Auditors. Our firm services a diverse portfolio of prominent local and international clients, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute external audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate and personal income tax returns.
  • Collaborate effectively with audit managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Communicate audit findings clearly and timely, and assist in resolving client queries and issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit files using appropriate tools and software.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an advantage.
  • Team spirit and be very responsible person,
  • Computer literacy,
  • Strong communication and organization skills,
  • Ability to showcase professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 3-4 years' experience in an audit firm,
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or another related field,
  • Partly qualified accountant or recently qualified accountant
  • Knowledge of Caseware system.
