Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our global people strategy in a fast-paced, rapidly growing international company. With multiple offices and a diverse, multicultural workforce, this role is pivotal in shaping a unified, high-performing organization where talent thrives, leadership is nurtured, and our culture is lived consistently across all regions.
As a key member of the executive team, you will build scalable people operations that support our global expansion, ensuring HR is not just a support function but a strategic enabler of business success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Develop and execute a forward-looking global people strategy aligned with the company's growth plans.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development to ensure our structure scales effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and future markets.
  • Provide board-level reporting and presentations, influencing major decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Lead change management initiatives that unify teams, strengthen culture, and prepare the organization for future challenges.

2. HR Operational Excellence

  • Build a standardized HR framework across all offices, ensuring seamless processes for onboarding, performance management, payroll coordination, and employee support.
  • Champion the use of HR technology and analytics to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure policies, systems, and practices are globally aligned yet locally adaptable, meeting both business needs and compliance requirements.

3. Talent Acquisition & Growth

  • Oversee a global talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent in competitive markets.
  • Strengthen employer branding to position the company as a leading workplace in the events industry.
  • Build succession planning frameworks and leadership pipelines to secure long-term organizational success.

4. Culture, Engagement & Inclusion

  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture that celebrates diversity, collaboration, and innovation across all regions.
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement and ensure every employee feels connected to the company vision.
  • Be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, fostering an environment of openness, fairness, and mutual respect.

5. Leadership Development & Learning

  • Implement training and development programs that equip managers and employees with the skills to succeed and grow.
  • Build structured career pathways, mentoring initiatives, and leadership readiness programs to nurture internal talent.
  • Promote a learning culture where knowledge and growth are encouraged at all levels.

6. Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure strong compliance with employment laws and data privacy regulations across all regions where we operate.
  • Oversee HR audits, risk management, and ethical standards, safeguarding both employees and the organization.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all HR matters.
